Elegancia Banquet

Since they were young girls growing up at their parents restaurant, sisters Ada, Jackie, & Ivie Fernandez dreamed of having a place of their own where they can unite the food their family is known for and their love of event planning. 25 years after their parents, Rafael and Ada, opened Fernandez Family Restaurant in Holyoke, MA, the sisters opened Elegancia Banquet Event & Meeting Room on Rt. 202 in South Hadley, MA. 

 

The three girls searched for over three years to find the perfect location for the event space they envisioned: one that embodied an elegant, sophisticated style, was close to the local community they grew up in, could one day accommodate a possible restaurant (serving the delicious Puerto Rican cuisine that has made ‘Fernandez’ famous in Western Massachusetts!), and was able to house full-banquet events!

 

When a good family friend alerted them to a beautiful restaurant and event space in South Hadley, the sisters knew this was the space for them. They had dreamed of a space where they could not only hold special events, but also be involved in decorating, planning, and truly bringing beautiful weddings, quince’s, and showers to life! Now the Fernandez sisters have a legacy to call their own and can continue what their parents started for them.
